So the obvious question. Is this good news or bad news for Arcade Fire (fans)?
I wondered the same....they did seem really fucking happy though....
I get the concern but I think that as long as the popularity doesn't ruin the music, (see Coldplay) it could be good for music in general. Shit pop music ruins people's minds and this might reverse some of the dumbing down that occurs.
